Protective Effect of 3-Benzoyl-7-Hydroxy Coumarin on Lipid Peroxidation and Minerals on Rat Liver Tissues Induced Oxidative Stress with Lead Acetate

Lead is a toxic substance and damages human metabolism. Coumarin-derived substances have many effects such as antioxidant, anticancer, antibacterial ones. In this study, the of 3-benzoyl-7-hydroxy coumarin on rat liver tissues under oxidative stress with lead acetate were investigated. rats divided into 4 groups. Control group (K), Coumarin (KUM), (P) Coumarin+Lead (KUMP) groups formed. Malondialdehyde (MDA), (Pb), iron (Fe), zinc (Zn), manganese (Mn), copper (Cu) levels determined in rats. MDA level P increased compared to other A decrease was observed KUMP level. While Pb Fe K group, decreased group. As result, it concluded that molecule protects high lipid peroxidation, lead, metabolism caused by liver.
